Frequently asked questions
Where will our data be stored?
On servers in Germany, usually in Frankfurt, Nuremberg or Falkenstein. Outside the EU only if you expressly decide so.
Roughly what does a migration cost?
For a business with around 20 staff, a typical migration costs between €5,000 and €12,000 one-off. Running costs afterwards are often lower than maintaining your own server.
Is the cloud really safer?
Mostly, yes. German data centres are certified (for example to ISO 27001), monitored around the clock and built with redundancy. A server in the basement can hardly match that.
Can we leave again later?
Yes. We rely on open standards and data that can be exported. Your data belongs to you.
