Frequently asked questions
What owners, managing directors and heads of department ask us most often.
General
What exactly does Nulogic do?
We digitalise the everyday processes of small and mid-sized businesses: invoices that book themselves, inventory software that talks to accounting, software that is easy to use, and IT that comes back up after a power cut.
Who do you work for?
For trades, manufacturing, retail and services, usually with five to 250 employees. Our clients include joiners, metalworking firms, specialist retailers, car dealerships and service providers.
Do we need experience with digitalisation?
No. Most businesses start with us from spreadsheets and paper notes. We meet you where you are and explain everything without jargon.
Where do you work?
Our team is based in Düsseldorf, Dresden, Stuttgart, Berlin, Munich, Hamburg and Leipzig. From there we look after businesses across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
How are you different from a classic IT company?
We come from sales and management, not only from technology. Before we talk about software, we want to understand how your business runs and where it gets stuck. We do not recommend the newest thing, but what works for you.
Process and timing
What happens in the initial consultation?
We listen: on the phone or by video call. Afterwards you know which processes are worth automating and roughly what that costs. The consultation is free and without sales pressure.
How long does a typical project take?
Small automations are ready after one to two weeks. Medium projects, such as booking invoices automatically, take four to eight weeks. Larger changes involving several programs take eight to 16 weeks. You get a realistic schedule for your case in the analysis.
What happens in the first few days?
We spend one to three days alongside your people and see where time is really lost. The result is a written roadmap with recommendations, effort and savings. You keep it, even if you do not continue with us.
Can we change things ourselves later?
Yes. We build things so that you understand what happens and can change small details yourself. Training and written instructions are included. Larger changes are covered by our support.
Costs and funding
What does a first project cost?
Depending on scope, between €2,000 and €20,000 net. A simple invoice automation costs €2,000 to €4,000, connecting inventory software to three or four programs €8,000 to €15,000.
What does ongoing support cost?
Monthly packages start at €500 and go up to €2,000 net. They include monitoring, small adjustments, updates and regular contact with your account manager.
Is there public funding?
Yes, mainly low-interest loans, and in North Rhine-Westphalia also grants for IT security. Which programmes currently accept applications is listed on our pricing page. Important: you usually have to apply before you award the contract.
How long do contracts run?
Monthly packages run for twelve months, then they can be cancelled monthly. In the first 30 days you can leave without giving reasons.
Data protection and security
Is this GDPR-compliant?
Yes. Everything we build runs on servers in Germany or the EU. We only use services that confirm in writing that they will not use your data for their own purposes, and we sign a data processing agreement for every project.
Where is our data stored?
In German data centres, on request in Austria or Switzerland. Outside the EU only if you expressly decide so.
Who has access to our data?
Only the people working on your project, and only to what they need. We use company accounts, never private addresses. When the project ends, we close all access.
How do you handle AI services such as Gemini or Claude?
We only use the business versions with a data processing agreement. Your data is neither used for training nor for any other purpose there. For particularly sensitive content we use models that run entirely in the EU.
What happens if we end the collaboration?
We close all access, delete temporary data and hand your data over in a common format. Everything we built for you is handed over as well. You are not tied to us.
Your question was not on the list?
Ask us directly. We answer personally, usually the same day.
